The aim of the project is to describe the patterns in the way children confront school.Focus is on the development of oral communication skill and on emerging literacy.The project pays a special attention to children with different kinds of bilingual or dialectal background.The analysis tries to give an answer to the question whether dialect and/or bilingualism is accompanied by specific difficulties or possibilities which the teacher schould note in her teaching.
